It's a blender, smoothie maker, soup maker...no it's a Vitamix!

I decided to throw in the towel and buy a Vitamix 6300. If you buy it on Vitamix's website, it's $649.99 but at Costco they are on sale for $600.000. Worth it? Yes!

Now why not buy the Costco Vitamix 5200 for $499.99? Two main reasons. One is that this includes a pamphlet with limited recipes. Two is that it lacks the pre-programmed settings which makes smoothies, hot soups, etc. a breeze!

Onto why you should get a Vitamix...

1. You can make Jamba Juice quality smoothies anytime.
2. You can make soup without turning on your stove.
3. To clean the Vitamix, all you need to do is put hot water and some dishwashing liquid and turn it on. It is its own dishwasher. How cool is that?
4. It crushes ice in a matter of seconds for yummy shaved ice desserts.
5. You can make salsa, not watery salsa but perfectly chopped salsa anytime.
6. You can make sorbet or low fat ice cream in less than 5 minutes.
7. You can make soy milk from scratch.
8. You will cook healthier since you are Vitamix-ing ie. less oils.

It's so easy to use, clean up and you are able to make a variety of items from baked goods, smoothies, soups to ice cream.

My favorite items that I make with my Vitamix are:

1. Soy milk
2. Red pepper alfredo sauce from tofu
3. Morning smoothies
4. Tomato soup
5. Banana sorbet
6. Chocolate cake
7. Whipped cream

It's my go to kitchen appliance. It does everything my old blender, mixer, soy milk maker, chopper, etc. all did, but in one easy machine. Spending this amount of money def. makes one cook more at home.
